The Himalayan kingdom of Nepal has implemented a long-term National Water Resource Plan (NWRP) in order to utilise water resources and contribute to national development.
The 25-year plan is being introduced to implement water resource strategies and includes operational plans for irrigation and hydro electricity.
A estimated total of US$17.4B would be required to implement the plan by 2025.
