The plants include Edgewood Energy LLC at Brentwood; Equus Power I LP at Freeport; Pinelawn Power LLC at West Babylon; and Shoreham Energy LLC at Brookhaven. The addition of these four assets brings the count of J-POWER USA facilities under NAES’s operation to seven.
"We are pleased to expand our successful relationship with J-POWER by providing operations and maintenance services to the Long Island plants," said George Wackerhagen, Senior Vice President of Plant Operations at NAES. "Over the years, NAES has worked hard to build a strong O&M platform that can be leveraged to yield significant fleet benefits to our customers, and J-POWER’s award affirms the effectiveness of that platform."
Paul Peterson, Vice President of Asset Management for J-POWER USA, added, "NAES has consistently delivered the kind of O&M practices that help us realize our vision – which is to own and operate a best-in-class fleet of power plants. This agreement reflects our confidence in their ability to advance our fleet initiatives by optimizing resource allocation, enhancing employee leadership practices and improving business decisions."
