The project includes the Northern Loop of the $1.4bn Maine Power Reliability Program, an energy infrastructure project in the state.
Under the $200m contract, MYR Transmission Services, an MYR subsidiary, will provide transmission line construction services including environmental controls, foundation installation, structure installation and conductor stringing for the new line segments.
Construction planning is already underway and actual construction is expected to begin in early 2011, and substantial completion is scheduled for August 2014.
