Results from RC drilling of sub-audio magnetic (SAM) targets include 2m at the rate of 1.23g per ton Au and 295ppm Cu from 39m and 3m at the rate of 0.11g per ton Au and 868ppm Cu from 63m.

Other surface gold mineralization at Deflector South includes 1m at the rate of 1.29g per ton Au from 35m.

Mutiny Gold managing director Tony James said: "Mary Celeste was identified by SAM survey in 2013 as a potential exploration target and preliminary drilling has shown that the SAM defined structures have been supported by follow up drilling and initial near surface mineralisation is associated with the structure."

"This work has also confirmed that the pipeline of potential at Gullewa goes well beyond Deflector."

The new mineralization is located 750m to the south of the existing 591,000oz Au, 27,000 ton Cu, 628,000oz Ag Deflector mineral resource. RC drilling of 917m was completed to validate the SAM defined target structures and test if they are mineralized.
