The single-axis trackers being installed there function with optoelectronic control and are an in-house development of the Brandenburg company.
The control’s highly sensitive sensor cells react even at low levels of global irradiation, the company said.
The client is Linak, a supplier of linear drive technology that is also used in Skytrap, and Linak’s nearby production facility is due to be supplied with the electricity generated by the solar farm.
Once the installation works are completed, some 500 square metres of solar modules are expected to generate 90,000kWh of power annually.
