During the first week of drilling, five drill holes were completed in a line of approximately 1km length while the initial inspection has confirmed the presence of alaskitic pegmatite rocks with significantly increased levels of uranium, the company said.

Scheduled to continue through October, the drilling program will include 40 drill holes for 4,000m of RC drilling and testing into a level of 85m below surface.

The drilling program intends to confirm presence of significant widths and grades of subsurface uranium minralisation, which leads to additional intense drilling program.

The Mile 72 uranium project is located on the central coast of Namibia, approximately 115km north of the town of Swakopmund and approximately 150km north of the major port of Walvis Bay.
