This collaborative agreement will enable both the companies to offer their integrated technology and services to the more than 700 large quantity medical waste generators and the nearly 2,500 medium quantity medical waste generators in the seven-state region.
Under the terms of the agreement, MedClean will provide the Gamma team with the technology and services required for the expansion of its medical waste disposal line of business, while at the same time extending its own distributor network.
The agreement with Gamma Healthcare is in line with MedClean Technologies’ goal of building a distributor network consisting of at least five new distributors and other strategic partners. The distributor agreement is expected to generate up to $2m in revenue for each company during the first year of the partnership.
Jerrod Murphy, president and chief operating officer of Gamma Healthcare, said: “The MedClean product line is a natural addition to our current business model, as well as for our plans to expand our medical waste hauling and confidential document destruction and recycling business.
“We are now in the position to establish processing facilities throughout our region utilizing various configurations of the MedClean Series of equipment.”
