Masdar PV has partnered with Beck Energy to build solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Luckenwalde, Germany.

Masdar will supply 65,000 modules for the ground-mounted solar plant that will be generating 6.096MWh of renewable energy annually.

The solar facility has an installed capacity of 6MW, and the total solar energy generated by the modules can supply around 2200 four-person households, according to the company.

Masdar CEO Frank Wouters said that the company has created a reference project here for future utility-scale photovoltaic power plants and for its Masdar PV product.

Beck Energy managing director Bernhard Beck said that the plant in Luckenwalde signaled the beginning of a constructive collaboration between the firm based in Kolitzheim in Lower Franconia and Masdar.

Masdar PV is a manufacturer of thin-film photovoltaic products and solutions.

Beck Energy is a company that develops and constructs high-efficiency solar power plants all over the world.
