The Vulcan 9.1 will enhance the features of pit optimiser, borehole geophysics and stratigraphic modelling tools.
Advanced features will include Gantt Scheduler, Level Designer, and new Implicit Modelling options.
Vulcan product manager Eric Gonzalez said: "We want to ensure customers spend less time processing data, leaving more time to apply their expertise to critical analysis and decision making.
Gantt Scheduler is designed to create scheduling activities directly from mine designs and the schedules are updated as designs are modified.
With the Level Designer, engineers will be able to determine an optimal plan for stope access as well as benefit from design strings and cost information for all the instances.
Stope Optimiser generates stope shapes and the information will be then scheduled in Gantt Scheduler.
Gonzalez added: "Both Pit Optimiser and Level Designer provide quick previews before running calculations in detail, so users can decide which designs are worth developing."
Implicit Modelling options include sample selection tools and triangulation output controls.
"The new functionality in this release rounds out the Vulcan underground planning cycle from drillhole manipulation, through implicit geological modelling, resource estimation, stope optimisation and strategic mine design, to detailed resource based scheduling," Gonzalez concluded.
Planned to be available from mid-November, the Vulcan 9.1 is in the final stages of beta testing.
