LDK Solar, a manufacturer of multicrystalline solar wafers and photovoltaic (PV) products, has signed a solar module supply contract with H Power, a Czech Republic-based developer of PV projects.
Under the terms of the agreement, LDK Solar will provide 84MW of modules to H Power during 2011.
LDK Solar chairman and CEO Xiaofeng Peng said that this agreement expands the company’s presence in Europe and demonstrates its continued momentum in solar modules.
LDK Solar manufactures polysilicon, mono and multicrystalline ingots, wafers, modules, and engages in project development activities in selected segments of the PV market.
The company’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located in the Hi-Tech Industrial Park of the Jiangxi Province, China.
