Knick Exploration, a company focused on gold discovery, will start the Phase I drilling program on 1 February 2011 at the East-West property, which is located in Quebec's Abitibi gold district, Canada.

At least 5,000m of drilling will be completed in the area hosting the Raven, Gilbert, Grand Canyon and East gold zones and the gold zones projected intersection with the Marbenite Fault, the company said.

The first hole will target the western portion of the Raven Gold Zone and is coincident with a hole to hole 3D induced polarization anomaly, the area between the Raven and Gilbert zones and the western extension of the Gilbert Gold Zone at depth.

Knick said because of the nature of the native gold mineralization in the East-West property, Metallic Sieve gold analysis will be performed on all quartz veining to minimize nugget effect results and more precisely judge gold grades.
