Under the MoU, KACARE and Chinese National Nuclear Energy Company (CNNC) will cooperate in the peaceful applications of nuclear energy.
The MoU has been signed by KACARE vice president Waleed Husain Abu Al-Faraj and CNNC chief financial officer Hwan Min Gang.
In order to discuss areas of mutual cooperation in the atomic and renewable energy fields between the two countries, Yamani met with Wen Jiabao, minister of the National Energy Commission, and several officials in Shanghai, Arab News reported.
Established through a royal decree issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah in 2010, KACARE aims to build a sustainable future by developing substantial alternative energy.
