As part of the deal, Jacobs will provide IPMT services such as basic and detailed design, permitting, project controls, quality, HSE management, procurement, and construction management services.

In addition, the company will provide commissioning and start-up support for the new plant, which is expected to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Jacobs Engineering Group vice president Tom Quinn said the company will support greenfield project of Honeywell in China.

"We look forward to helping them meet their project goals by drawing upon our local technical and project management capabilities, fortified by our 35 years of experience in the chemicals industry in China," Quinn added.
