Itron has signed a contract with Poland-based energy supplier Pomerania Gas Company to provide nearly 200,000 residential and commercial gas meters.
Over the next three years, Itron will supply meters to the gas distribution company which serves nearly 764,000 customers.
Itron Energy Poland sales manager Zdzislaw Wojdanowski said the firm will work with Pomerania Gas Company to upgrade Polish gas infrastructure.
"Itron’s field proven gas meters are designed to accurately measure gas over the life of the meter. This product will deliver a solid return on the gas company’s investment for years to come," Wojdanowski added.
