Ibn Majid General Company, which is owned by the Iraqi ministry of industry and minerals, has completed rehabilitation work on the 90MW Al-Najibiya power station for connection to the country’s national grid.
The ministry has stated that more such stations are expected to be renovated by international firms.
Ibn Majid General Company is reportedly ready to implement more projects, including the installation of equipment and machinery at the Unit-2 and Unit-3 of the Al-Haritha power station, which is expected to contribute around 350MW of electricity to the country’s power grid when it becomes fully operational.
