Quanta Services subsidiary InfraSource has received a five-year contract from Puget Sound Energy (PSE) to provide construction and maintenance services across the utility's six-county natural gas service area.
The contract is expected to generate about $400m in revenues for Quanta.
InfraSource is expected to use at least 250 employees to work on PSE’s natural gas system.
Quanta Services chairman and CEO John Colson said the company shares PSE’s vision of providing customers with dependable and cost-effective natural gas services.
"Our safety, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and community relationships are the foundation of our collaborative approach to providing quality, efficient system maintenance and construction," Colson said.
