US-based ICF International has secured a $9.4m contract to support the implementation of an energy efficiency program by executed by a major utility.

Scope of the contract includes the implementation of the energy efficiency programs on a wide range of sectors such as construction and improving heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.

Commenting on the initiative ICF International senior vice president Mike Mernick remarked that the company will work towards delivering cost-effective energy savings to the customers of its client.

"This program helps our client achieve its goal of providing cost-effective energy savings and provides a valuable service to a broad range of residential customers," said Mernick.

ICF International has provides advisory services for private- and public-sector clients in the energy industry providing consulting services and technology solutions.
