Hunt LoNox is claimed to be a price competitive alternative to petroleum based industrial diesel fuels, the use of which is expected to result in considerable reduction in nitrogen oxide (NOx), sulphur oxide (SOx) and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in compliance with the EPA standard.
The company will market this newly developed product to industrial consumers of boiler fuel, heating oil, marine fuel and other stationary diesel and off-road users that may also have government compliance mandates for the usage of cleaner burning fuels to decrease their emission.
Hunt BioSolutions CEO Gregg Enders said that curing the past year the company has tested its formulation with a number of organic feed stocks to be marketed both as a stand-alone fuel and as a blend with petroleum based fuels to achieve the desired result, the clean burning Hunt LoNox.
