Holland Services announced the successful completion of its role as project manager for a produced water pipeline located in the Red Hills area of Lea County, New Mexico.

The midstream division of Holland Services oversaw all aspects of the pipeline from design, engineering, right of way, environmental, construction, and testing, on behalf of the owner/operator – Oilfield Water Logistics (OWL).

OWL executive vice president and chief information officer CIO Roger Johnson said: “The project team at Holland Services was excellent to work with, handling the myriad dynamics of this project and doing so under an accelerated timeframe.”

Holland Services chief operating officer Bryan Gaudin said: “The OWL management team was seeking a top of the line system that could grow with the development and demand from Delaware Basin producers working the Red Hills area in Southwest New Mexico. Holland Services was honored to be chosen to manage and deliver this pivotal project on their behalf.”

Known as the Red Hills Produced Water Transportation Pipeline in New Mexico, the 30-mile, 16” fiberglass, high-capacity pipeline, is capable of carrying over 150,000 barrels per day, and now that it is operational, is the basic infrastructure that affords producers the ability for water transfer and handling at the lowest possible cost in the Red Hills area.
