Water solutions company Heckmann Corp has completed four acquisitions to expand its water solutions for energy development business segment.
Heckmann acquired certain assets from Bear Creek including fresh water and produced water transportation and two salt water disposal wells in the Haynesville Shale area of Texas,US with complementary transportation operations extending into Louisiana.
The company also acquired certain fresh water and produced water transportation assets and two salt water disposal wells in the Haynesville Shale area from Sand Hill Foundation.
Heckmann also acquired Excalibur Energy Services, and a frac tank rental company Blackhawk, as well as all of the assets and business of US-based Devonian Industries.
The Bear Creek and Sand Hill transactions offer substantial expansion of fresh water and produced water transport, treatment and disposal assets and capacity in the Haynesville Shale and Barnett Shale areas, increasing the capabilities and capacity of Heckmann Water Resources, the company said.
