Under the contract, Hanwha will supply 11.5MW of 72-cell modules (HSL-72), characterized by real-life performance and extended durability, the company claims.
Hanwha is likely to deliver the modules in January and February 2014, while Ikaros expects to install the modules in a solar park in Norfolk County, the UK with construction set to begin in January 2014.
The solar park featuring 38,334 Hanwha modules is expected to be commissioned by the end of March 2014.
Ikaros Solar CEO Yves Devis said the company has found a partner as Hanwha that can ensure both high quality and financial stability.
