The sale marks the Terra Energy managed BNU mine’s first coal shipment to be sent for supply chain and coal wash testing.
Following the wash testing, the coal will be delivered to the company’s end users in China.
The first trucks from the BNU mine are slated to leave on 25 August and washing will start thereafter.
The company expects further coal deliveries of around 12,000 tons.
Guildford Group managing director Peter Kane said trucking of the first batch of coal from the BNU mine is a significant milestone.

"The Board is excited about the further development of the BNU mine and exploring the Company’s other mining licenses in the region."
