Covering 2,296.6m, the twenty-two diamond drill holes intersected visible graphite mineralization and were spaced about 50m apart horizontally along the strike of the mineralized beds.
The drilling is designed to infill between previous drill holes utilized in the inferred resource, to increase confidence in the continuity and distribution of mineralization.
Graphite One president, CEO and director Anthony Huston said: "Completing this program puts us in the position to finalize our preliminary economic assessment to demonstrate to the market how robust the project will be."
Results will help produce an update to the resource estimate for Graphite Creek and refine the existing inferred resource of 284.71 million tons of 4.5% graphite.
Ontario-based Activation Laboratories is managing the sample preparation.
Hosted by the garnet-graphite-sillimanite-biotite schist, the near surface Zone 1 mineralization ranges from 3% to 12% graphite and is said to be the largest of the mineralized zones.
The Zone 2 mineralization comprises biotite-graphite-schist and it ranges from 3% to 7% graphite.
