The company said that it planned 18,000m of drilling for the winter program and claims this includes shallow drilling to infill the deposit down to around 300m to upgrade inferred ounces to a measured and indicated category.
After spring break-up, extra drilling will be planned and budgeted and will infill down to a depth of 500m.
According to the company, the program will also include the drilling of the high priority southern magnetic gold target, 1km from the Frankfield East Deposit.
The winter program will also include medium depth drilling to about 400m-600m to fill in missing areas drilled as part of the 2010 drilling program, and deep drilling to a depth of more than 1,000m to define areas for resource expansion and to explore an apparent easterly plunge to the deposit which has demonstrated multiple parallel gold bearing structures at a depth of 750m, Gowest said.
