As per the three year contract, Glamal will supply the company’s east coast refinery and north east oil terminal with approximately 2,000 tonnes of bespoke pipes, fittings and flanges in an array of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel.
The contract is strategically important to Glamal, as it establishes a presence in the Humber marketplace, which is the location of one of the supply sites, according to the company.
Glamal Engineering managing director Neil Pentland said that establishing a profile along the east coast is a key priority for its business.
"The refinery is one of the most sophisticated in Europe and indeed one of the leading refineries in the world," Pentland said.
