The power project is located in the city of Krzecin in the West-Pomerania province of Poland.

GE is supplying three wind turbines each with a capacity of 2.5MW to the project owner KSM Energia.

The company has also signed a 10-year, full service agreement with KSM Energia to help ensure the Zensko site’s wind turbines continue to operate at optimal levels of availability and efficiency.

The facility is expected to enter commercial service in the fourth quarter of this year.

According to GE, Poland is expanding the production of renewable energy to reduce its dependence on coal-generated electricity.
