The scope of work for Gamesa includes installation and commissioning of 25 G97-2.0MW turbines, which are scheduled for delivery in July 2014.

The wind farm is expected to be complete by 2014-end.

The G97-2.0MW class III wind turbines are claimed to be designed specifically for low-wind sites and are part of Gamesa’s 2.0-2.5MW platform.

Gamesa has already supplied 206MW turbines to several projects in the region, which is one of its main markets in China. Since 2009, the company has supplied 106MW turbines for CGN’s projects in Shandong, Liaoning and Heilongjiang provinces.

The turbine manufacturer has been present in China since 2000. It has installed more than 3,510MW of turbines in the country, and maintains 900MW.
