As part of the deal, the company will involve in the development of wind farm, including the supply, installation and commissioning of 25xG97-2MW wind turbines.

The plant, which is being developed in Kosegaon, in the state of Maharashtra, is expected to be completed by mid-2014.
In addition, the company will maintain the services of the facility for 10 years.

In India, Gamesa has installed around 900MW and manages capacity of about 800MW under operations and maintenance agreements and has a project pipeline of around 4,300MW in the country.

The company noted that it has attained 18% of its sales in India in the third quarter of 2013.
