The crew on jack-up Sea Challenger completed the installation of the 6MW Siemens turbine on 7 January.
For the next few months the vessel will erect 66 more wind turbines at the site.
In September, last year, the Sea Challenger was used in the installation and commissioning of the offshore substation. The substation was erected 20m above the sea level.
A2SEA CEO Jens Frederik Hansen said: ”We have wide experience in handling the Siemens 6MW turbines, but it cannot be done without good team work.
“It is a great pleasure to once again work together with Siemens, but also our renewed cooperation and partnership with Statoil, which started on their first offshore wind project Sheringham Shoal, and now continues on the Dudgeon project.”
The wind farm, which is estimated to cost £1.5bn, will generate enough power to supply about 410,000 UK households annually once is fully commissioned in late 2017.
Statoil owns 35% stake in the wind fram, UAE-based Masdar and Statkraft own 35% and 30% stakes respectively.
Statoil is the developer of the wind farm and will continue to operate the wind farm once it has been commissioned and begins operations.
