Under the MoU, the companies will collaborate to see the benefits through the construction and operation of four wind projects, to be located in the Peace Region.
The wind power project will produce 300MW of clean, renewable electricity.
The MoU is a mechanism through which the McLeod Lake Indian Band has provided its acknowledgement and acceptance for the Tumbler Ridge, Wildmare, Meikle, and Bullmoose wind projects.
The MoU establishes the processes and sharing of benefits that will ensure an ongoing positive relationship with the McLeod Lake Indian Band.
The four wind projects under the MoU are: 45MW Tumbler Ridge wind energy project, 77MW Wildmare wind energy project, 117MW Meikle wind energy project and the 60MW Bullmoose wind energy project.
