As part of the deal, Finavera will transfer its power purchase agreement (PPA) of the project to the Pattern, for around $28m.
Both the companies are working diligently to finalise the sale in the short term, according to Finavera.
The 116MW of EPAs have been cancelled, concurrent with the assignment of the Meikle EPA to Pattern, and as required by BC Hydro.
Finavera said that it retains the licenses and permits for those projects and continues to collect data from the sites.
