Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has signed a new exclusive long-term supply agreement with ExxonMobil to provide over 1,100 ExxonMobil company operated locations and On The Run franchises in the US with its specialty coffees.

In 2000, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters signed its initial long-term supply agreement with ExxonMobil. Since the signing of the original agreement between the two companies, ExxonMobil has continued to expand and refine its convenience store operations both in the US and internationally to the point where they now number over a thousand outlets. The new deal represents the increased demand ExxonMobile’s expansion has generated.

Tom Rutz, vice president of sales, convenience stores, for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, said: We value our long-term relationship with ExxonMobil, and view this company as one of the industry leaders in convenience store operations. I am very pleased that we are continuing to work with this outstanding organization.

We are happy to continue the long-term partnership we have had with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, said Michael Gore, US convenience retailing manager at ExxonMobil. Our gourmet coffee is a strong contributor to the long-term resiliency of our convenience stores. Our relationship with Green Mountain Coffee has been great in the past, and we are very excited to be working together as we look ahead.
