Equipment supplier Ingersoll-Rand has added two new products to its range of fully enclosed GenPowerSource diesel-driven generators. The G9 and G11 models have a single control panel positioned at the front of the machine and are designed to be simple to operate. Like the other members of the GenPowerSource range, they have a -15?C starting capability, allowing the generators to operate at these low temperatures. Fork slots have been built into the skid base for easy handling, and the central lifting eyes on the G9 and G11 generators aid in lifting the units on site. A trailer option is also being offered.
The G9 and G11 models have been developed to provide application capability for construction site tooling and lighting. The addition of these generators extends the IR GenPowerSource range to cover requirements from nine to 500kVA prime power.
