The well was drilled to a total depth of 1,170.7m and it has been suspended as a water monitoring bore.
Samples of the Toolebuc shale will be evaluated for geochemical analysis and it is expect the results will available for interpretation in early 2013.
The data forms part of the Galilee Joint Venture’s assessment of the extent of maturity of the Toolebuc shale as an oil and gas resource.
The company has a 50% beneficial interest in both ATP 1005P and the Silverfox-1 well.
During 2012, Exoma has drilled 12 wells and through the Silverfox-1 exploration well the company has concluded it’s 2012 drilling programme. The EDA #1 drill rig has now been released, the company said.
