This wind farm, located on the ridge near Tsuetate mountain, in the town, comprises 8 Enercon wind turbines , each rated at 2.3 MW capacity, and the generated power will be sold to Shikoku Electric Power Co., Ltd.
The start of the commercial operation of the plant is planned for May, 2019.
This project is expected to generate a total amount of electric power equal to the power consumption by approximately 10,000 general households.
The CO2 reduction effect of the project is estimated to be about 23,000 tons a year.
