Test results demonstrated the possibility to immediately produce a stable flow of moderate quantities of high quality natural gas.
The company said that final analysis of the results and assessment of the gas field’s potential are expected within several weeks.
Energtek also said that based on the results of the test, it will move forward with preparations to begin the first commercial natural gas delivery project from the NirAm field to an industrial energy consumer located near the field.
Energtek CEO Lev Zaidenberg said that the results of the NirAm production test will enable the company to organize a pipeless natural gas supply project – the first of its kind in Israel.
