In total, Endesa has obtained and will manage 25MW of capacity in the Germany-Holland interconnection in July (potentially 19GWh) and 50MW in the Holland-Germany interconnection (around 37 GWh).

This operation represents a further step in the implementation of Endesa’s European strategy, optimizing its capacity to manage energy in trans-national markets, the Spanish firm said in a statement.

In addition to reinforcing Endesa’s presence in the European market, the company says that these capacity management operations leverage profitable growth opportunities with energy trading.
