The two firms have joined forces to support the expansion of the solar energy market for small-to-midsized businesses and municipal buildings in the region.
The program is expected to help building owners navigate the various state and federal incentive programs.
Encon’s Solar Division manager Glenn Cucinell said by creating the Solar Leasing Program, the company can now offer customers the ability to finance the entire project.
GSG chief executive Andrew A Bender said, "GSG Leasing recently launched GSG Energy Finance to support sustainable energy projects and we chose Encon as our first vendor partner based on their experience and reputation."
Turnkey solution from system planning and design to activation will be provided by Encon Solar.
Encon, which handles permits, utility interconnection applications and installation of related materials, will also provide maintenance and energy performance monitoring after the installation.
