Germany-based Elster has entered into a new multi-year frame agreement with Baltimore Gas & Electric (BG&E) to supply both residential and commercial gas diaphragm meters.
The company will deliver AC-250, AL-425, AL-630 and AL-800 model meters that are expected to be utilized in BG&E’s advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) deployment.
Elster provides electricity, gas and water measurement and control systems, and its offerings include distribution monitoring and control, advanced smart metering, demand response, networking and software solutions, and related services.
Headquartered in Baltimore, BG&E delivers power to more than 1.2 million electric customers and more than 640,000 natural gas customers in Central Maryland.
