The company claims that LumiSmart ILC is a new smart grid-enabled lighting controller that provides microprocessor-driven adaptive control of lighting circuits to reduce power consumption while providing an instant 40% or more power reduction without replacing any existing lamps, ballasts or fixtures.
The company expects the partnership with Elekrolution to help deepen its reach in Europe and bring smart grid lighting technology to this area of the world.
Cavet Technologies is currently partnering Bright Negawatts in North America, the Caribbean and the United Arab Emirates, and Brightpath Technology in Europe.
Cavet Technologies has engaged Celestica, a a multinational electronics manufacturing services company, to manufacture all LumiSmart ILC, giving Cavet Technologies, its channel partners and customers access to engineering and manufacturing.
Jorgen Soderstrom, chief technical officer of Elektrolution, said: ”We see a huge potential in the way LumiSmart is designed. It is easy to install, requires minimum maintenance and instantly helps our customers to save energy and money.
