Dresser, a manufacturer of engineered natural gas measurement and pressure control products, has expanded its relationship with Tancy Instrument of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China for distribution of its metering and regulator products in China.
Under the new agreement, Tancy will distribute Dresser’s Mooney regulator products in China. Regulators, along with meters, are key components of the ‘skids’ that Tancy packages for the stations that meter and regulate the flow of natural gas in pipeline distribution systems.
By adding Dresser’s Mooney regulators to the Tancy product offering the company expects to cater to a complete customer requirement in the China market.
John Parrish, senior vice president of sales at Dresser, said: ”Tancy has been our China distributor for metering products for nearly a decade.
”We have had a very successful relationship with them, and when we strengthened our product offering, we felt that Tancy offered us the best opportunity to represent the – Dresser Series C Rotary Meter – to the China natural gas distribution market.”
