Slovenia’s Dravske Elektrarne Maribor, which operates eight hydro stations on the Drava river, has released its annual results showing a profit of more than US$24.3M.

The company has also completed refurbishment of six of its power stations on the upper Drava stream at a cost of some US$253M, increasing production capacity by 67.3MWh.

The company plans to renovate its remaining two plants by 2008, in addition to consolidating its presence along the Mura and Sava rivers.
