DGW has signed a licensing deal with a US-based firm to expand its products range to include membrane elements technology, nanofiltration membrane and reverse osmosis membrane used in sea water desalination, treatment of brackish water, industrial and domestic water and wastewater.

The construction and installation of the manufacturing facilities are expected to be complete by late 2011to begin production in 2012.

DGW has also entered into a licensing agreement with a Netherlands-based firm to enhance its ozone technology products by introducing energy-saving disinfection technology that is anticipated to combine ozone and oxidation technology to reduce the company‘s energy consumption by 30%.

The company expects to begin production of the new ozone products in mid 2011 and the advanced oxidation products by the end of 2011.

Duoyuan Global Water chairman and CEO Wenhua Guo said that the acquisition of these two licensing agreements will not only complement the company’s existing products but also further diversify its product portfolio.
