The deals calls for providing long-term natural gas liquid (NGL) gathering services for the DCP Midstream Sandhills Pipeline (Sandhills Pipeline) through two new interconnect points with WTLPG.

DCP president of northern business unit Bill Waldheim said the company is excited to work with WTLPG to provide an integrated solution to gather and transport the increased production of NGLs from West Texas to feed the Sandhills Pipeline.

DCP is in the process of securing right-of-way and environmental permits for the 700-mile Sandhills Pipeline which will transport Y-grade natural gas liquids (NGLs) from gas plants in the Permian Basin and South Texas.

The Sandhills Pipeline and WTLPG are working towards completion of construction and commencement of operations in 2013.

DCP Midstream is a 50:50 joint venture between Spectra Energy and ConocoPhillips.
