The luminaries based on the CXA20 are claimed to deliver 38% more illumination than a 26W CFL or a 100W incandescent bulb, while consuming a mere 14W when used in a traditional downlight application.
The CXA20 array provides a single, uniform optical source, and with a simple 2-screw attachment, can simplify the manufacturing process for customers who require a single component in their light engine design.
The samples of CXA20 LED array, that provides 1050 lumens at 11W, or 2000 lumens at 27W, with a 3000 K warm white color temperature are available now with standard lead times with production volumes targeted for late 2011.
