The contract requires Cooper Lighting to replace the Visitors Bureau’s existing High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting with more energy-efficient LED fixtures to reduce the building’s energy and maintenance costs, while improving the lighting quality.
Cooper Lighting will install its McGraw-Edison Concise LED Canopy fixtures, Talon LED Area Luminaires, and Lumark LED Wal-Pak fixtures on the exterior part of the building, illuminating and providing security lighting to both the perimeter and parking lot areas of the building.
The company will deploy HALO Stasis LED Track Luminaires to brighten a glass mural and HALO LED Recessed Downlights in the facility’s interior, while Sure-Lites LED exit signs will also be installed throughout the building to enhance the building’s energy and cost savings.
Cooper Lighting vice president and general manager Mark Eubanks said that the resulting energy savings and return on investment associated with switching to LED lighting make it a practical choice for facility owners looking to save money while improving light levels.
