In this role, Mr Butler will develop and manage Commonwealth Edison Company’s (ComEd’s) strategic relationships with key state stakeholders, including the Illinois General Assembly and other state agencies. He will also direct company strategies and resources to achieve legislative results.

Most recently, Mr Butler served as senior vice president of external affairs for RR Donnelley, where he lobbied at the local, state and federal levels and is claimed to have led a variety of strategic initiatives. Before RR Donnelley, he spent five years in a variety of positions at Central Illinois Light, where he worked in the government affairs, legal and operations areas.
