Clean Coal Technologies has received the final approvals for the Inner Mongolia clean coal project from the Inner Mongolia Provincial Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, and Autonomous Regional Environmental Protection Department.

The approvals now clear the way to proceed with the necessary activities to support the commencement of initial technology deployment in the Ulunhot industrial complex.

These include the staffing of joint venture operation, and finalization of funding activities and sub-contracts with local services and materials suppliers in addition to the company’s primary engineering contractors in the US and Canada.

The company’s joint venture partner has previously been awarded the necessary permits for the commencement of the rail spur that will serve its facility, which is expected to commence in 2011.
