The signing of the MOU will allow China Ming Yang to develop advanced supply chain capabilities in Hebei province focused on the development of wind power equipment and wind/solar hybrid storage systems productions facilities in China.

This will include a carbon fiber manufacturing facility for the manufacture of 3-6MW wind turbine blades and battery systems for wind/solar hybrid energy storage in Hebei, which borders major industrial and population centers, including Beijing, providing opportunities for wind power market.

The Hebei government plans to designate a minimum of 1GW of wind and solar power capacity in Chengde and at least 2GW of offshore wind power capacity on Hebei’s coast for Ming Yang and certain utility operators to develop.

China Ming Yang chairman and CEO Chuanwei Zhang said that this cooperation with the Hebei government will enhance the company’s ability to grow its business and further expand its market share in China.
