China Energy Recovery, a company engaged in the design, fabrication and installation of waste heat recovery systems, has won a $4.2m contract from Jiangsu Jihua Chemical.

The contract includes a waste heat recovery system capable of producing up to 13.7 tons of steam-per-hour at 185 degrees Celsius and 1Mpa.

The system will be incorporated into an existing sulfuric acid plant at Jiangsu Jihua Chemical’s complex in Binhai, YanCheng City, Jiangsu Province.

China Energy chairman and CEO Qinghuan Wu said that this contract is the latest in a series of significant new-business wins that demonstrate the strength in demand for the company’s cost-effective waste heat recovery system technology.

Jiangsu Jihua Chemical is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Jihua Group, a manufacturer of basic industrial materials in China.
